Which electric bike has the highest speed

We never pursue being the fastest, but sometimes the feeling of “flying” can really become addictive. Starting from our personal experiences, we rode through the winds of the Nevada Valley in California, racing head-on with various types of electric bikes to find out which one is truly the king of speed. Meanwhile, by incorporating the actual usage experiences of netizens and a few technical details, we made this cycling adventure more heartfelt and valuable for reference.

Initially, we didn’t think too far ahead. It was just a few old friends planning to ride electric bikes through the Nevada wilderness in eastern California—a route that doesn’t look very remarkable on the map. But when we actually set off, the wind speed, changes in altitude, and the golden sunset in the sky all spurred our desire for “faster”
Our original goal was simply to relax, but soon, “Whose bike is the fastest?” became an inescapable topic during each break. Some had purchased the popular 1000W models sold domestically, while others had the 3000W heavy-duty versions that are mainstream in Europe and America. And among us, George brought a new 5000W monster he had just bought, which is said to have a top speed close to 65 miles per hour. We all laughed and thought: Really? An electric bike, faster than a lightweight motorcycle?
“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” — This old saying by Einstein was stuck on the back of George’s seat. While we teased him for being literary, we also tried to figure out whether this electric beast that looks like it came straight out of a sci-fi movie could really “take off”.

In the first test ride, we each pushed our speed to the limit on a vast alkali flat. In the first few seconds, everyone was evenly matched, but by the tenth second, George’s 5000W bike began to leave us far behind. He rode out like the wind, kicking up a trail of white dust from the rear of his bike.
And when we stopped to catch our breath, he had a smile on his face that said, “I can’t believe it myself.” He said, “This isn’t just a sense of speed; it’s a feeling of defying gravity.”
Throughout the ride, we tested about five different models of electric bikes. For example, the 1000W to 3000W models that are popular in the general market are mostly stable, safe, and energy-efficient—but they do lack a bit of “wildness.”
It wasn’t until we tried out a 5000W electric bike from Ecoe that we were truly impressed. With its all-terrain fat tires, dual motors, a high-capacity 60V 32Ah battery, and the dual suspension system, every feature made our hearts race. Although this Ecoe bike was just George’s backup option, it became the unanimously recognized “speed demon” among us later on
A fellow American cyclist named Kevin commented on a forum, “This Ecoe bike is insane. I hit 44mph (about 70km/h) on the sandy terrain in Utah, which is even more powerful than my previous Honda lightweight motorcycle.” Others remarked, “At first, I thought it was just showing off horsepower, but then I realized the tuning is actually quite meticulous, and the comfort level is not bad either.”

We couldn’t agree more. The just-right stability of Ecoe doesn’t make you feel nervous at high speeds, especially when we were riding downhill. The confident feeling of sprinting at full speed gave us a new understanding of the category of “electric bikes.”
Of course, we are not a professional review organization, nor do we have laboratory data to support all our opinions. Much of the time, we rely on the sense of the seat under our buttocks, the strength of the wind in our ears, and the joy that everyone shouts out while riding together.
Ultimately, speed is not everything. Although the 5000W model is powerful, it is not necessarily suitable for everyone. For example, one of the girls in our group rode a 2000W small model with limited speed, but she said she enjoyed the sense of security and controllability that came with the stable downhill ride more.
We also wonder whether “speed” is just a temporary pursuit. Will there come a day when we choose a lighter, more environmentally friendly, and longer-range electric vehicle to travel quietly in the city?
But at least during that journey, speed gave us more than just adrenaline; it also brought real human interaction. After all, no one can ride fast and check their phone at the same time. You have to keep your eyes wide open to see the road, the people, the wind, and the stories.
Looking back now, we still laugh about that journey where “the electric bike was faster than a motorcycle” when we chat. It was not just a competition of machine performance but also a way of pursuing limits in real life.

For many urban commuters, 5000W might be too “aggressive,” but for those who love the wilderness and want to challenge their limits, this could be exactly the “toy” they are looking for.
Deep in the Rocky Mountains, you ride a 5000W electric off-road bike, rushing out from a forest trail, with the low hum of the motor mixing with the sound of the wind. The feeling is truly indescribable in terms of speed units.
We won’t say that Ecoe is the strongest in the industry, nor will we claim that the 5000W electric bike is suitable for everyone. But we did, through this Ecoe electric bike during that journey, come to recognize another aspect of “speed.”
Sometimes, you think you are riding a bike, but in fact, you are traveling through time
